The plane, which had taken off from Wilson Airport and was headed to Mbaruk, Nakuru County went down at around 5:14 pm.
In a statement issued on Friday, KCAA Director General Emile Arao expressed condolences to the victims' families and assured the public that investigations were underway.
"KCAA is actively coordinating with relevant authorities, including the Air Accident Investigation Department, emergency responders, and local security personnel, to gather further details and facilitate response efforts," he said.
The accident was initially reported by a member of the public to the Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC), prompting a swift emergency response.
Authorities have yet to establish the cause of the crash, with investigators expected to conduct a detailed assessment of the wreckage and flight data.
